Founded in 2001, the company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Jamaica Urban Transit Company, the bus franchise holder in the Kingston Metropolitan Transport Region (KMTR). The company’s major business is retreading, with a retreading plant capacity of 12,000 tyres annually per 8 hour shift. This is done by utilising customers’ old tyres or using high-level casings imported by the company from the Asian, North American or European markets.
